Job Title: QA/QC Laboratory Supervisor
Veolia North America is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the day-to-day laboratory QA/QC operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee laboratory QA/QC operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Assist staff in complex analysis of problems to determine chemical components of waste materials and appropriate utilization of site processors.
- Train and assist newly hired laboratory technicians in the various QC utilized in the laboratory in identifying a variety of hazardous waste materials.
- Perform a variety of chemical, biological, and physical tests required for research, development, or quality control on samples in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in special studies in the laboratory and possibly in the field.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related discipline required.
- Prior work experience of 3 to 5 years in the hazardous waste industry preferred.
- Prior supervisor experience of 1 to 2 years preferred.
