The ideal candidate will be upbeat, team oriented, help to create the best dental experience for all our patients every visit, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties
Patient Interaction:
Greet and check in/out patients and office guests with a friendly demeanor.
Answer multi-line phones, handle voice messages promptly, and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
Verify patient and insurance information with acute accuracy.
Appointment Management:
Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently.
Accurately collect insurance co-pays, patient expenses, and past due balances.
Administrative Duties:
Compile financial reports as needed.
Retrieve and distribute incoming faxes.
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
General Office Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanliness of the front desk and waiting room areas.
Receive and route documents, such as lab results and clinical correspondence.
And any additional duties instructed by your Practice Administrator

Requirements

- Compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control procedures.
- Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal Background Check, and FBI Fingerprinting as required.
- Willingness to travel to other local Verber Dental Group office locations as needed.
- Electronic Medical Records systems experience is a plus.
- Dental experience; specifically experience in a Periodontal Office (This is a Plus)
