What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expediting position at Verify?
Overview
Stainless Foundry &Engineering is severely past due on 2 liners and 1 impeller. The initial shipment of parts was shipped back to due to porosity rework. Supplier missed shipping the reworked orders due to additional rework. We need an expeditor at the supplier site to drive the completed parts arrive to Vernon by 11/10/22.
Expediting and Delivery Assurance involves on-site supplier engagement and structured reporting on Work-in-Progress (WIP) relative to the supplier’s production planning and the Customer’s need date. Expediting improves supplier delivery performance through direct supplier engagement to assess, prioritize, coordinate and improve part delivery dates.
