Cash Applications Representative

Overview:

As a Cash Applications Representative, you will be responsible for payment applications to the appropriate client accounts.

This position is a remote role in Tampa, FL.

What you'll do:

• Apply all incoming payments to the correct client accounts (Primarily Credit Cards with opportunity in other functions)
• Reconcile all payment applications daily.
• Process Credit Card payments for our clients on our credit card portal(s)
• Review Banking Correspondence & distributing it to the appropriate teams (Cash Apps, Collections, Accounting)
• Research payments that are received with no payment detail.
• Daily follow up on all Unapplied/Unidentified payments.
• Identify refunds at time of application.
• Handle Cash application requests from clients & all other departments

  Who you are:
• Assertive, proactive, and efficient with excellent problem solving and follow-up skills.
• Take initiative & be able to work independently.
• Strong computer skills, Zoom, Microsoft, Outlook.
• Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and able to multi-task.
• 1-2 years’ experience in Cash Applications required.
• Experience with Excel spreadsheets is required.
