What you will be doing:
As a Technical Writer for the Public Sector Federal Aviation Administration Enterprise Network Engineering Services (FENS) Enterprise Services team, you will edit and provide customer ready documentation for all deliverables including rack elevations, service descriptions, technical specifications, technical analysis, and other technical reports.
You will be focused on the technical editing of the telecommunications and associated enterprise services being delivered for FENS. You will need to:
Understanding customer business challenges.
Documenting and editing technical reports, correspondence, designs, diagrams and other related technical documentation (e.g., user manuals).

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
Experience in developing and editing technical network, telecommunications, and IT related documentation.
Bachelor's degree or with five or more years of technical editing experience, or ten years of technical editing experience.
Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements.
Ability to obtain a Government security clearance of Public Trust.
Experience in communicating (written and spoken) highly technical, multi-faceted (e.g., network, security, data, application) solutions to customers in a simple, understandable manner.
Experience in technical areas listed:
Networking and Telecommunications Data and IP Services (MPLS, SIP, internet, VPN, SDN, NFV, SDWAN).
Cloud and Data Center Outsourcing (application management, compute and storage, virtualization, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
IT Applications Management (SOA, Web Services).
Even Better if you have:
Public Sector Domain Experience to include both Federal and Department of Defense contract and procurement experience.
Experience in the Aviation industry.
Experience working with the FAA preferred
Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance requirement upon hire
