What you'll be doing...
The Technology and Product Development team is seeking a System Architect who will be responsible for developing and managing new technologies, products, and services for the Dept. of Defense. This position will work closely with customers, cross functional teams, and vendors to design and architect solutions based on security requirements.
- Supporting the architecture design, plans, and development of new products and services to meet DoD security requirements and policies.
- Defining security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components.
- Defining and driving security requirements through vendors to meet business product requirements and objectives.
- Developing and Leveraging 4G,5G and MEC for innovative solutions.
- Managing technology vendors, partners, and customers to build out technical capabilities to prove out and commercialize product solutions.
- Aligning with cross functional teams to drive the adoption of new products.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Active Top Secret security clearance, and eligibility to maintain.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A Master's Degree in computer science or related field.
- Knowledge of Department of Defense processes, security standards, and requirements.
- Experience in wireless networks (4G and 5G) and MEC.
- Experience in the field of Engineering, including any of the following: System Requirements definition and analysis, System Test and Analysis, Systems Engineering Studies, NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience in systems security including but not limited to various computer hardware and software S/W operating system and application solutions in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations and / or Security features and/or vulnerability analysis of various operating systems as defined by Intelligence agencies.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering requirements, specifications, and Experience implementing DoD and Federal IA Certification and Accreditation Processes, IA controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation.
- Experience in NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37.
- Experience in obtaining an ATO.
- Experience in developing insights, presenting, and influencing strategic decisions using data.
- Strong analytical capability, with the proven ability to structure business cases around a high-level strategic vision.
- Ability to effectively engage/interact/communicate with all levels of leadership.
- Knowledge of working with cross functional teams and technology vendors.
- Experience in troubleshooting end to end solutions from UE to the network and application.
- Strong technical acumen in the areas of private and commercial wireless networks, edge computing, and relevant public sector applications.
- Experience in designing overall network solutions based on customer requirements.
