What you’ll be doing...
Our Talent Intelligence team delivers processes, tools, and data insights that helps attract top talent and architect our frame work for internal mobility. As a Business Intelligence Consultant on the team, you will help to not only build the organization and its capabilities from the ground up but also enable the global scale of Verizon. You will shape talent market studies, taxonomy, job postings and workforce planning initiatives by leveraging your knowledge of analytics, data visualization/storytelling, and data governance and management.-
Lead labor market research and analyses through partnership with external vendors and synthesize results with internal organizational data.Leverage advanced analytical techniques and tools (Cognos, Tableau, HR Data Warehouse, etc.) to interpret key findings from internal and external data sources that will provide insights on talent availability, trends, skills, future skills, job posting, and qualifications.Support and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.Examine, interpret, report, and present results of analytical initiatives to Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR, and other client groups; use data visualization techniques to present results in a compelling manner.Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.Manage multiple research and analytics projects across the enterprise and managing relationships with their stakeholders.Present insightful and complex analyses, constructs, and findings to senior leaders to enable a diverse range of strategic projects.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Information Sciences, Computer Sciences, Economics, Statistics or related field or four or more years or work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience communicating and developing data-based information effectively and in visual platforms such as PowerPoint, Slides, Tableau, etc.
- Project management experience.
- Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have:
- A degree.
- Experience with basic natural language processing (NLP) frameworks, uncases, functions, and applications.
- Experience managing multiple, large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Experience creating and/or delivering executive presentations on relevant topics.
- Experience in delivering quality solutions and deliverables against aggressive deadlines.
- Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and building relationships.
- Experience with data munging / data wrangling, query and expression building in tools such as Cognos Report Studio, Qlik, Excel, and Tableau.
- Knowledge of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition or relevant areas.
- Experience with R, Python, SQL or other scripting languages, with experience in process automation, natural language processing, text analysis and predictive analytics.
- A degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Sciences, Economics, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or other related disciplines.
