We are looking for a Technology Architect to help us build upon this exciting technology exploring new ways of leveraging its capabilities. .If you consider yourself a technically-proficient leader who understands the complex intricacies,practical business applications and future landscape of 5G and MEC, then we want you.
As a Technology Architect, you will work alongside crack shot engineers as well as work across teams to evaluate ideas, products, and services from both a technology and a practical business perspective. You’ll have the ability to clearly and concisely summarize complex topics and map the application of technology to business needs. Working with emerging technologies means that you are a fast learner, creative problem solver and you enjoy BIG questions. You can hold your own in a diverse work team structure, are able to context shift quickly, and understand how to apply your expertise to a wide variety of industries. We’re looking for someone who can help us build the 5G future transforming the “art of the possible” into the “path of the probable”.
- Invent novel approaches and figure out what to do when ready-made processes or techniques are inadequate.
- Find patterns between disparate, seemingly unrelated sources anticipating innovative ways to build and position new business ideas.
- Demonstrate continuous personal development with the team and desire to learn from others. You see collaboration as a mechanism for self-improvement.
- Layer together experimentation with other research, testing, and metrics to reveal strengths and flaws in the current strategy and devise a clear path forward.
- Serve with our team of technical Architects in evaluating new opportunities and products.
- Balance technological solutions against practical business opportunities.
- Develop rapid prototyping plans and guiding the team from ideation to initial build.
- Building models to assess technical, economic, and market potential of the opportunities.
- Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on any industry-related activities.
- Communicate findings through reports and presentations to stakeholders and executives.
- Work with peers across BUs and Corporate Strategy to advise, assess, and develop opportunity areas into new growth business and investment opportunities.
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degreeor four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working in a management consulting role focusing on technology and business innovation.
- Four or more years of experience in architecture design and implementation in areas such as Machine Learning/AI, distributed systems and embedded software.
- Experience with developer ecosystems.
- Experience with business process mapping and/or re-engineering.
Even better if you have:
- Masters degree.
- General technical Experience across complimentary technologies including cloud, database and network solutions.
- Track record building viable technology products.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
- Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative, analytical skills.
- You are a fluent story teller with the ability to translate data, sentiment and business concepts into a well-articulated and compelling story.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- High degree of self-confidence and determination.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation software.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines, and simultaneously work on multiple projects.
