The Vermont Health Care Association, the trade organization representing over 100 quality long
term care nursing and residential care homes seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to manage our association.
The Executive Director is responsible for representing members to state agencies, in the legislature and in the advocacy community statewide. He or she will communicate and interpret regulations, policies and matters of professional and business interests to members, governmental agencies, the media and the general public.
Candidates must have management, strategic, financial and organizational skills, as well as superior writing and verbal communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience in government, regulatory, public affairs and/or health policy activities.
Knowledge of the health and long-term care industry preferred.
Extensive advocacy during state session and statewide travel is required.
