Instructional Designer (Full-Time)

Location: Hybrid. Home campus of Lyndon- some travel between campuses
BASIC FUNCTION:
Under general supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Online Programs, the Instructional Designer (ID) serves as an innovative resource providing consultation, training, and support to faculty and subject matter experts (SMEs) in designing and delivering effective and engaging online learning experiences for existing and new degree courses/programs including workforce development trainings for in demand fields. The ID provides expertise and knowledge on various pedagogical and andragogical approaches and effective practices to support online and hybrid course delivery for both credit bearing courses and courses requiring industry recognized
credentials. The is a two-year grant funded position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in education, business or marketing, or other appropriate discipline with one to two years of relevant experience in a college/continuing education environment or a similar combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
This job is dependent on grant funding and will cease when grant funding is no longer available
