Assistant Professor - Nursing, Northeast Kingdom Region

The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Vermont State University invites applications for 2 Full-Time Tenure Track Assistant Professor positions in the Department of Nursing. 

Currently seeking to fill 2 positions to begin Fall 2023 for Academic Year 23/24.  

Responsibilities: 
Responsibilities include teaching courses and clinical for pre-licensure nursing students in PN and/or RN/ADN program in a progressive 1 1 nursing program.   Some courses are offered through a distance education delivery modality. Some regional travel may be required. The candidate will be expected to serve the college community by participating in committees and student advising.

Minimum Qualifications: 
Qualified candidates must possess a master’s degree in Nursing and have previous clinical experience in nursing.  Teaching experience in secondary school or college is a plus.  An active unencumbered Vermont RN licensure or eligibility for an unencumbered Vermont license required. A valid driver's license is required. 

Salary: 
Based on qualifications and experience as defined by VSC-VSCFF Bargaining Unit Agreement.
