Job Description summary:
Responsible for various service areas of the Operations department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
- Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
- Responsible for the morale and direction of all front-line associates.
- Ensures the quality of systems operations in all department areas by communicating with all levels of systems users and offering direction and assistance, as needed.
- Routinely inspects all supported equipment, identifying potential problems and repairing same, if possible.
- Facilitates the flow of information throughout the Operations Department by attending regularly scheduled meetings.
- Responsible for providing racing programs and the removal of bill and ticket jams in the self-bet machines in the VLT building and hotel.
- Responsible for assisting customers with ATM issues/complaints.
- Responsible for implementing and using the company’s “Be the BEST” culture with all guests and Associates.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises the activities of all of the Operations Attendants and directly supervises the activities of all VLT systems in the VLT building.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems with customers and departmental associates.
