What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Service Representative - Clinic-FT position at Vernon Memorial HealthCare?
Full time position available for a Patient Service Representative to work primarily at our Hirsch clinic location in Viroqua and other clinic locations as needed. The Patient Service Representative duties include greeting and scheduling patients, collecting required information to accurately process patient registration, telephone reception and general clerical duties.
Hours for the Patient Service Representative are weekday shifts (ranging from 6:45 am - 5:30 pm) with rotating Saturday hours at the Hirsch clinic. Saturday rotation will be approximately one (1) out of eight (8) shifts.
The Patient Service Representative candidate must have the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and provide service with a sense of compassion a must. Experience as a receptionist in a medical setting with proficient data entry and computer skills strongly preferred.
