Position Overview

T2 Systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Communications Manager to lead and execute our marketing and communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing and communications tactics, the creative ability identify and communicate to lead cross-functional teams, and a proven track record of driving measurable results.

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for leading the team, creating the annual communication strategy and managing the resources that support T2's strategic goals, including building awareness of the T2 corporate and product brand, establishing sales, generating demand for solutions via a pipeline of MQL's, and collaborating across T2 on internal communications.

This is a hands-on roll that requires a wide range of marketing, communications, and business skills, including the ability to learn new industry insights, collaborate across teams, and lead others. This individual must be able to contribute as both a team manager and solo contributor. A successful individual in this role must  be able to manage agency and other external marketing partner relationships, manage budgets, and develop integrated plans that will track, measure, and report program results.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Customer Success to develop and deliver an integrated content marketing strategy that ensures consistent messaging and alignment of goals in support of T2’s business objectives
  • Creative ability to develop and manage content and collateral for multiple marketing channels including paid advertisements, social media campaigns, websites and portals, presentations, case studies, and product sheets
  • Own and develop the communication strategy by leveraging internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to ensure successful execution of programs
  • Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs to measure and optimize marketing and communications efforts
  • Drive thought leadership and industry recognition through speaking opportunities, awards, and other relevant programs
  • Manages the team, budgets and resources to execute the plan, fulfill objectives, and deliver measurable results across events, creative, demand generation, and product marketing disciplines.
  • Working alongside the marketing team and collaborating closely with sales, product, company leadership, and other peers:
    • Develop and deliver events, Content, and lead generation campaigns that create memorable experiences and build pipeline of customers and prospects and trust and two solutions.
    • Maintain and engaging T2 website with optimized SEM/SEO, and ensure delivery of compelling original content in all formats in a timely manner to promote the brands and generate awareness and interest in T2
    • Use Salesforce.com, Pardot, Salesloft data, Google Analytics, and other reports to track measure analyze and report results
    • Manage media buys and public relations to control messaging in the markets serve and build and intentional brand story.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing and communications with a proven track record of driving measurable results
  • Experience managing a team of marketing and communications professionals
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to experience with copy writing
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems such Salesforce

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • The individual in this role must have the ability to proactively identify process blockages and present defined solutions. Ability to learn quickly and gain knowledge from T2's software products, services, and processes is required, which can be obtained through T2 training tools, subject matter experts, technical documentation, and dedication to gain such knowledge.
  • Curious and creative by nature, must possess high level of strategic thinking, problem solving skills, creativity, and analytical abilities
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and have a strong understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
  • Must excel presenting information up, down, and across organizations, and operate with high level of urgency responding to managers, staff, customers, and external audiences
  • Experienced in SaaS company and/or engineered solutions preferred ideally with a publicly traded company.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Will lead and develop a small team of marketing professionals responsible for developing and delivering all internal and external communications.
  • this is a hands-on role that requires working with the marketing team to achieve goals and add value.
