SIGN ON BONUS OFFERED: $25,000k

The Pharmacist will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Contributes to Therapeutic Equivalence Policies & Programs,
  • Recommends Medication Programs & Protocol
  • Participates in medication interchanges (IV to PO)
  • Participates in Clinical Student programs
  • Recommends and monitors clinical adjustments for patient conditions
  • Performs Drug Regimen Reviews
  • Performs and addresses Drug Interactions
  • Provides Drug Information Services
  • Provides General Physician Support
  • Recommends and follows current approved therapy regimens
  • Provides patient information and education
  • Continuously develops expertise in Specialty Units medicine
  • Continuously monitoring of parenteral nutrition programs, and Provides Pharmacy & Hospital Staff orientation and training on medications, and as directed by the Director of Pharmacy.

The Pharmacist must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • TEXAS STATE BOARD OF PHARMACY LICENSE
  • PHARMD
  • BLS (AHA OR ARCA) PREFERRED
  • 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
