Any Building/Facilities Quality Control Inspectors out there? We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, who is personable and a strong communicator across channels. We work at the 1.3 million sq ft. state-of-the-art government Environmental Protection Agency EPA facility at the RTPin Durham, NC. A relocation package can be considered if outside of a reasonably commutable distance.
This role requires walking the buildings and grounds to inspect completed site maintenance work orders from our internal maintenance team and subcontractors. There's also climbing ladders, hopping up on the roof, using scissor lifts, crouching and squeezing into places - anything we've got to do for a thorough inspection. It's our job to ensure safety and compliant operation of systems, instruments, and equipment - and we're pretty darned good at it!
There's great work-life balance here. The role is Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and there's a full benefits package (3 weeks paid vacation, 10 paid holidays, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401k match, and more).
What You Would Do All Day
Pretty much anything related to the inspection of executed tasking in Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, and Automation related areas. While ensuring work is compliant with local state and national codes, of course. It's more than just that, though; we need a QC Inspector who can see the work from our client's perspective.
