Summary
Versar is hiring a Biologist to support a contract with Black & Veach supporting USACE NWK and AFCEC CIE for a National Environmental Policy Act Environmental Impact Analysis Process project. The Biologist selected for this position will provide fieldwork planning, safety planning and fieldwork to achieve program objectives. In addition to the educational and experience requirements listed below, the successful candidate must possess strong written and verbal communications skills, be well-organized, exercise sound judgment and possess both analytical and teamwork skills.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Biological Resource field work planning and implementation.
- Crew Leader for Wetland and Habitat Assessment
- Develop study and safety plans
- Collect and analyze field data
- Report writing.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree BA/BS degree
- Five (5) years of relevant experience in field
- Must be able to work in remote locations (central Oregon) in field conditions.
