Under the direction of the Manager, Facilities Management, performs activities to ensure that the facilities management information system (FMIS) and all building and security system capabilities are maximized, and the integrity of the databases is maintained. Responsible for developing and maintaining all facilities and systems training documents, training schedules, and training files, and coordinating training. Acts as the QSS (Quality Support Services) representative for the Facilities Management department. Assesses and troubleshoots computer and building systems and equipment and acts in advisory capacity to Facilities staff and management.Responsibilities
- Coordinates creation and execution of validation plans and other Quality documents.
- Develops and maintains system procedures, training material, and other related documentation following BCW procedures.
- Assists with implementation of new/revised computer applications and improving facilities management processes.
- Identifies problems with systems and participates in troubleshooting/resolution.
- Manages change control process and procedures as related to systems.
- Reviews and recommends database changes in FMIS.
- Coordinates, implements, and evaluates facilities management and systems training.
- Prepares project plans, status, and statistical reports as needed for system planning and training; tracks and trends data.
- Acts as a liaison between Information Services and Facilities Management on system issues, training, and support.
- Coordinates CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Action): data maintenance, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Assumes on-call responsibility as needed.
- Serves as back up to Facilities Tech IIs.
- Acts as liaison between Facilities Management and Equipment Management, IS, and QSS.
- Assists with downtime procedures.
- Facilitates collection of data on quality indicators. Analyzes data, summarizes and prepares reports.
- Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to system use.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education- High School Diploma required
- equivalent
- Associate's Degree in maintenance-related field, technical certification, required
- comparable experience in maintenance field with emphasis on mechanical, electrical plumbing , HVAC, and refrigeration maintenance and repair required
- 1-3 years experience in managing database driven systems required
- 4-6 years experience in a maintenance field; experience with electrical and building systems, biomedical equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration required
- Strong computer aptitude/skills
- Organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Effective customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Superior skills in trouble shooting and resolving technical/equipment and systems problems
- Demonstrated ability to competently perform all duties of Facilities Tech II
- Familiarity with quality systems and technical writing and training
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
