POSITION SUMMARY:- Ensures overall mechanical performance of conveyer systems; troubleshoots, investigates and resolves equipment issues including root problem analysis
- Perform basic tune up on machines; ensure all repair work is performed correctly and equipment is in good working order
- Recommend measures to improve equipment performance and productivity
- Responds to calls from floor employees in a timely manner and communicates with management regarding repair work, status or parts needs
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations
- Review and conduct cycle counts of tools and parts inventories; purchases supplies and parts from approved suppliers as authorized by the Property and Maintenance Manager
- Performs general maintenance and repairs of building and facilities which may include cosmetic, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on industrial machinery or similar equipment
- Prior experience with PLCs, conveyer systems, and photo eyes
- Self-starter; ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks in a fast pace production environment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding safety and machine guarding
- Ability to reach, bend, climb and lift up to 50lbs; capable of working at various heights
- Willing to work overtime as required based on business needs
