Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Content Coordinator to join our dynamic team, focusing on AutoGuide.com and Motorcycle.com. This role is pivotal in managing the daily content operations, ensuring quality control, and optimizing content for best practices in digital engagement. While expertise in automotive or motorcycle topics is advantageous, a keen interest and basic knowledge in the subject matter are essential. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, ready to grow, and open to exploring innovative approaches to enhance our content strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Optimize content, including headlines, subheadings (H2s), image captions, and inline links, to improve readability and SEO performance.

- Enhance our backlink profile by posting content and videos to relevant forums.

- Ensure AI-generated content is effectively integrated and promoted within our content mix.

- Coordinate with news editors to assign and expedite the publication of news stories for timely coverage.

- Manage and execute content sharing across social media profiles, newsletters, and other distribution channels to maximize reach.

- Edit and layout articles from freelance contributors, maintaining the high-quality standard of our publications.

- Support newsletter growth strategies, including organizing giveaways and engaging with our reader community.

Qualifications:

- Strong foundation in content creation, editing, and digital media, with a focus on automotive or motorcycle content being a significant plus.

- Demonstrated ability to optimize digital content for SEO and social media engagement.

- Proactive and confident in managing projects, with a keen eye for detail and quality control.

- Openness to innovation and experimentation in digital content strategies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team and with freelance contributors.
