Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to work or learn to work on advanced difficult equipment issues with high priority and urgency
- Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing equipment and vehicles and completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotations
- Maintains equipment and vehicles’ functional condition by listening to crew leader complaints and conducting inspections
- Repairs mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replaces parts and components.
- Work on field service calls with the highest quality and urgency in mind.
- Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls, and updating systems.
- Compiles vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and preventive maintenance.
- Contains costs by keeping track of warranties and evaluating service and parts options.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts.
- Keep your workspaces clean before, during, and after all maintenance is completed.
- Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of technical and mechanical procedures
- Computer skills a plus but not required
- Welding skills (Preferred)
- Skilled and proficient with all small engine repairs
- Skilled and proficient at large truck diesels
- Skilled with Transmissions, exhaust systems, fuel systems, drivelines, differentials, hubs, and all other components of NTI owned equipment including bobcats, excavators, and horizontal drills.
- Advanced skills with Hydraulic systems and hydraulic schematics (Preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) a bonus
