Restaurant Host

Vessel Nola is seeking an experience Host who has a knowledge of OpenTable reservation platform.

The right candidate must be personable and able to engage with guest.

Candidate must be reliable and able to handle answering phone calls.

Candidate must be able to lift at least 40 lbs and have a pleasant and charming demeanor.
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. This position is available in both hotel and restaurant settings.

Pay: $7.25 plus tips. Average pay per hour is between $13.00-$17.00.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide menus
- Assist with reservations and waitlist management
- Answer phone calls and take reservations over the phone
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient seating and service
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Provide general assistance to guests as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
