Production Manager

**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the roofing, siding, decking or gutter industry, possessing expertise in estimating, project management, and subcontractor coordination. They will play a pivotal role in overseeing project production, ensuring accuracy in estimates, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Estimating:**

- Utilize industry knowledge and Xactimate software to accurately estimate roofing projects. - Collaborate with sales representatives to understand project requirements and provide detailed estimates.

- Review measurements, specifications, and site conditions to determine project scope and materials needed.

2. **Project Management:**

- Plan and schedule projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to procure materials and services necessary for project execution.

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

3. **Insurance Claims:**

- Assist clients in navigating insurance claims processes related to storm damage.

- Prepare and submit documentation required for insurance claims, including estimates, photographs, and reports.

4. **Team Leadership:**

- Lead and motivate production teams to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.

- Provide guidance and support to subcontractors, fostering strong working relationships and promoting quality workmanship.

5. **Continuous Improvement:**

- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to roofing.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in the home improvement industry, with a focus on production management and estimating.

- Xactimate certification preferred; willingness to undergo training in Chicago if not certified.

- Familiarity with insurance claims processes related to storm damage.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors.

- Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic and a drive for success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,235.39 - $65,315.74 per year
