Overview
We are looking for a motivated Industrial Electrician to join our brand new state-of-the-art freeze drying facility in Allentown, PA! In this role, the Industrial Electrician will maintain equipment and facilities to operate in the safest and most productive conditions. This job requires strong mechanical aptitude, communication, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, maintain electrical systems for building, utilities, and production equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical power distribution, automation control systems, and VFDs, proximity sensors,
- Ability to troubleshoot HMIs and PLCs
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Ensure all work-orders are complete
Requirements:
Must Have
- 3 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Industrial automation controllers,
- Electronics
- Electro-mechanical devices
- AC/DC motors,
- Wiring diagrams and schematics
- Experience in Rockwell automation software
- Demonstrated competency in computer and PC software
Preferred Skills
- A.A./A.S. in an electrical technical discipline or equivalent military experience
- Food manufacturing experience
- ● Experience working with industrial refrigeration systems
- State accredited electrician license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work with allergens that might be present in food environment
- Ability to work in hot/cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
