Job title: Accounts Receivable Patient Pay Collector
Location: Remote ( Monroeville, PA )
Pay rate: $18.55/hr W2
Duration: 6 months
Hybrid
Mostly remote with 1-2 days on site a month. Must be willing to come onsite as needed.
The Accounts Receivable Patient Pay Collector will be responsible for validating patient balances, working with other departments to determine validity, and making outbound calls to patients to collect on balances. This position requires work within several different operating systems as well as Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
1 year(s) of experience performing or explaining healthcare reimbursement/collections or medical insurance billing
Preferred Qualifications
1 year(s) experience performing phone work explaining patient/member responsibility
1 year(s) experience in self pay collections
1 year(s) experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word
