After 36 years, our unique type of neurological services continues to be in high demand in the Valley. We are expanding our operations while continuing to provide the same high level of attention to detail for each case. To accomplish this level of quality while scaling up, we are seeking leaders (HR Manager, Office Manager, and Practice Manager) with strong character and excellent management skills to help uphold the hospital's values and systems/processes. This individual will provide the support to the Team (Technicians, CSR's, and Doctors) that is necessary to ensure a positive, enjoyable environement while achieving the shared goal of providing top notch quality service day in and day out.

We are looing for leaders who will take on the responsibilites in one or more of the following roles. This person will work closely with the other members of our leadership team. One of the VNC tenants is flexibility. We are looking for leaders to own the responsibilities in one of these positions, however, their skills and interests may also align with some of the duties in a different leadership position. For this reason, all roles across the hospital have been developed so multiple individuals can share the responsibilities of different positions when appropriate. This inherent need for collaboration provides constant support from a co-manager or assistant and ensures the continuity of duties for the hospital if the leader is not there for hte day. Previous experience and managerial skills are preferred but we are willing to train individuals with limited experience, skills, or credentials but do possess the qualities necessary to lead teams.

  • Human Resources (HR) Manager: This is a dynamic position that blends the typical HR management responsibilities with the unique roe of being a coach and mentor to all team members. The HR Manager fosters positive hospital morale by providing the necessary support for team members to learn and grow. The HR Manager works closely with the Practice Manager as well as the other managers.
    • Primary Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
      • New hire on-boarding
      • Scheduling, timecard, and payroll management

      • Preferred Qualifications:
        • Previous HR, administrative, or supervisory experience
        • College graduate
        • Certified or credentialed in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
          • Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) certified
          • Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM)
          • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field
          • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
          • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

  • Office Manager: A strong team is necessary to ensure each client has a great experience and the front office flows efficiently day in and day out. The Office Manager will work alongside our existing Front Office Leadership Team to achieve this goal. Qualified applicants must be able to work with the CSR's as needed to help provide exceptional client service and "own" the recurring administrative tasks/projects that are necessary to help align each CSR in a position for success.
    • Primary Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
      • Conduct weekly team meetings and implementation(s)
      • Task/project management
      • Daily check-ins with the Practice Manager
      • Inventory management
      • Team member scheduling
      • Work with the Building and Equipment Maintenance Supervisor and Implementations Specialist to ensure equipment is operating optimally
      • Update processes and create new ones, as appropriate, in the Front Office Procedure Manaual
      • Spot check client communication via phone and in person for quality service
      • Daily audit of patient records and financials

    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Previous CSR and supervisory experience
      • College graduate
      • Continuing education or courses in:
        • Customer service
        • Leadership
        • Supervision
        • Communication

  • Practice Manager: This individual will work closely with our Hospital, Practice, and Medical Directors and all the other managers to ensure the hospital is running smoothly and all processes are functioning at a high level of quality daily and over time.
    • Primary Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
      • Daily check-ins with, and provide oversight and assistance to:
        • Technician Managers
        • Office Managers
        • Human Resources (HR) Manager
        • Public Relations (PR) Manager
        • Business Manager

      • Create and refine hospital systems and processes
      • Daily check-ins with the Practice Director
      • Collaborate with leaders to prevent and resolve issues
      • Attend weekly team meetings
      • Task/project management

    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Executive Assistant, or General Manager
      • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
      • Additional education/certification:
        • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
        • Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) certified
        • Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM)
        • Master of Business Administration
