Wedding Cake Decorator
Vetro Restaurant & Lounge premier venue in Queens, NY, is looking for a passionate and skilled wedding cake decorator to join our team. This individual will be under the supervision of Pastry Chef.
Primary Tasks
- Building and assembling wedding cakes with various fillings, and designs.
- Experienced in detailed technics working with fondant, royal icing, piping.
- Decorating wedding cakes according to house standards to fit customer’s custom order requests
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Must be detailed oriented
- Maintain proper communication with supervisor and fellow team members
- Ensure station and work areas are clean, tidy and properly set up for the next day before leaving the premises
- Help to maintain an overall positive team environment
Position: Part-Time, In-Person
Schedule: Open Availability to work Weekdays (Mon-Friday), and Weekends/holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 30 Lbs
Salary : $20 - $25
