Shipping and Receiving Clerk – 12 Month FTC Rotating shifts 6am - 2.30pm / 2.30pm - 11pm Salary: £24,960 per year VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Shipping and Receiving Clerk on a 12 Month FTC. Let’s Talk about the Role As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will complete all systems processes and administration processes to enable the DC to successfully receive inbound deliveries from suppliers and to successfully despatch outbound deliveries to internal and external customers. Working as part of the Inbound and the Outbound team, you will conduct a variety of tasks for either area depending on workload and customer requirements. How You Will Make a Difference Proactively managing the booking process and ensuring bookings are made on time Updating systems and tools to ensure end to end processes are completed Ensuring all processes are carried out to standard operating process Ensuring accuracy in data and reporting – proactively seeking solutions Delivering clear, structured handovers with the oncoming Team, ensuring all the key information is reviewed to ensure seamless transitions from shift to shift Attending Shift and Department Team Briefings ensuring awareness of responsibility regarding SQCDP Skills for Success You should be someone who has previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, in an administration role or similar who is: Familiar with a Booking System – either Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), bespoke packages (Shiplog, EDI, Transport etc) or Microsoft Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook) An excellent communicator, who is able to communicate to a diverse and multi-skilled supplier and customer base both verbally and over email and Zoom Of a strong analytical background and is able to understand data and accuracy Committed to the achievement and maintenance of quality and best practice Previous experience in a distribution centre, in particular an automated eCommerce, Retail and Wholesale environment with significant exposure to Inbound and Outbound Freight and Carrier would be advantageous What’s in it For You We’re in the business of unleashing human potential, driven by the ideas, energy and commitment of our people.
