Job Title: Field Technician, Systems Trainer
Company Background:
After working for a Hotel keycard conglomerate for ten years, I founded VGI Tech
Solutions. Our company does contract work for ASSA Abloy, the global leader in the door lock solutions. We have been growing steadily over the past ten years and are looking to acquire hard working, tech savvy people. Managerial and customer service backgrounds are a plus.
Job Description:
Seeking an individual with technical skills as well as training skills. The applicant will be required to travel to hotels throughout the U.S. and implement software.
You will need to be able to set up a local network with the server computer and other equipment. Strong people skills are required to conduct training sessions with the hotel staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Setting up proprietary software and building a database. **
- Setting up computer hardware and getting equipment networked.
- Training hotel staff on how to use the software program.
- Traveling weekly to different hotels across the United States.
** Certification on the software program will be held every three months
Important Information:
- Applicant must be willing to travel 90% of the time.
- This is for contract work. You will be issued a 1099-Misc at the end of the calendar year.
- All travel and lodging costs will be reimbursed and be paid out bi-weekly within your regular work pay.

New hire would be required to successful clear a background test and drug test before going into the field.
