What are the responsibilities and job description for the PTS Analyst position at VGW?
Purpose
This is a critical role within the Payments, Trust & Safety team, who are responsible for protecting VGW and its customers from fraud through detection, investigation, analytics, optimisation and insights.
This role will be responsible for reviewing and investigating possible fraud activities by way of transaction monitoring. It will require a degree of customer interaction to establish positive outcomes where possible.
The role requires a well-developed awareness of risk presented by different customer touch points during the customer journey.

Qualifications, skills & experience:
- 1-4 years of financial crime operations-related experience (strong domain experience within transaction monitoring, customer screening, enhanced customer due diligence, and quality assurance functions).
- Demonstrated experience working with transaction monitoring systems is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (financial crime, fraud, law) or equivalent industry experience is an advantage.
- Awareness of financial crime management frameworks, processes, controls, prevention systems and technology within a financial services environment.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience utilising products in the Microsoft Office suite (eg: Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
