Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Unleash your creativity and design proficiency as an Instructional Designer with us! You will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Revolutionize the way we learn and perform by developing multi-modal learning materials, including virtual training, blended classroom sessions, interactive e-learning modules, performance support, videos, animations, and more.
  • Measure success like a pro by designing and developing assessments at Kirkpatrick Levels 1-4 to evaluate the impact of your learning programs and performance support tools.
  • Keep learning fresh and relevant by continuously reviewing and updating content based on learner feedback and real-world experiences.
  • Support subject matter experts in transforming technical information into engaging training.
  • Plan, execute and meet learning development deadlines while ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the communications team and creative partners to create innovative, effective, and on-brand content that drives business outcomes.
  • Build training plans based on learner needs and maintain organized project documentation.
  • Work with all project stakeholders, both internally and externally. 

Skills & Knowledge

Ready to take your instructional design career to the next level? Show us your expertise in these areas:

 

  • Strong knowledge of multiple instructional design approaches and a deep understanding of adult learners.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience designing reusable content and performance support solutions.
  • Knowledge of various instructional media, including instructor-led, online, and virtual instructor-led training.
  • Proficiency in using eLearning development tools, such as Captivate, Storyline 360, Camtasia.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principals applicable to instructor led and computer based training.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and balance quality with on-time delivery, even in the face of changing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

Do you have what it takes to join our team as a level 1 Instructional Designer? Here's what we're looking for:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • 2 -4 years of experience in developing educational content for virtual training, in-person sessions, and eLearning in a business environment.
  • A portfolio that showcases your exceptional learning asset design and development capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering knowledge: Have you designed and developed learning solutions within the engineering industry or an operations environment? We're looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of the industry and can bring that knowledge to the table.
  • Multimedia master: Are you a pro with multimedia development tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Premier, and After Effects? We're looking for someone who can bring their A-game to creating engaging, visually appealing learning materials.
  • Presentation prowess: Do you have experience as an instructor-led or virtual presenter/facilitator? We're looking for someone who can captivate an audience and keep learners engaged.
  • LMS wizard: Have you worked with an LMS before? Show us your experience in managing and organizing learning content within a system.
