The IT Generalist is responsible for providing personal computing support to business staff, installing, or setting up computers and software.  In this role you will perform trouble shooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair/replace parts, debugging, etc.).  As the IT Generalist you will need at least an intermediate level skill/knowledge in all of the following areas: desktop support, networking, security, infrastructure and server environments.   This position will work closely with the IT Director for the support and deployment of business desktop information system needs.

The starting pay range for this position is $25-27/ hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday typically 8:00 am- 4:30 pm.  This position is based out of the Boulder office, but will drive down to the Denver location on a weekly basis (6500 Franklin St.)  

Qualifications for the IT Generalist:

• Minimum of 21 years of age  
• 3-5 years’ experience in an IT Technician, IT Manager or relevant role
• Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Networking, Sys Admin, or relative field is preferred
• Certification as IT Technician (e.g. CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified IT Professional) strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel to the Denver location to service users and their computing devices
• Will be driving a company vehicle between locations, so must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Experience with Firewalls, Windows Server, Aruba and HP Switches preferred.
• Experience in working with systems and applications in a Microsoft Windows client/server environment
• Experience with MS-SQL Server or other database systems
• Initiative and the ability to work independently with minimum daily supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
