Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager for a PERMANENT and remote role. Below is a brief job description. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare and infrastructure.
JOB SUMMARY:
The IM Project Manager is responsible for applying project methodology, supporting project team members and participating in developing and maintaining project management standards. This job has four major focus areas:
Apply formal project management methodologies for IM project implementation and development of projects to bring projects in on time and under budget.
Responsible for participating in developing and maintaining project management standards within the IM Division.
Responsible for supporting project directors on large enterprise projects.
Responsible for the successful turnover of projects to production.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree Five years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
PMI certification
Working knowledge of the technical work of the various project teams (software development, operations, infrastructure, etc.)
Implementation experience with previous integrated Healthcare Information systems with emphasis on clinical and financial applications/systems (Epic, People Soft, Meditech, SAP, Cerner, etc.)
