Position: L3 Support Java Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid 3 days/Week onsite)

Duration: Full Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced L3 Support Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support for our Java applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with development teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for Java applications, including incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues reported by users or lower support levels.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement fixes, improvements, and enhancements to existing applications.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for optimization.
• Maintain documentation for support processes, procedures, and system configurations.
• Participate in regular on-call support rotation and respond to critical incidents as needed.
• Assist in the deployment of software releases and patches.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior support staff.
• Work closely with QA teams to validate fixes and enhancements before deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in Java development and support.
• Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting Java applications.
• Familiarity with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
