In Home Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) Essential Job Functions (differ based on client needs) :
- Housekeeping / Cleaning & laundry
- Meal preparation & cooking
- Grocery shopping for or with the client
- Transportation & errands
- Personal cares and bathing
- Companionship
- Visit places in the community / socialize
- Engage in activities (games, memory books)
- Assist with goals such as, but not limited to social and behavior functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, safe boundaries, etc.
by Coaching, discussing, roleplaying, teaching etc.Requirements
- MUST HAVE CAR INSURANCE!
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE!
- Must be 18 years or older
- Record daily care notes
