Job Title: Cellar and Packaging Asistant
Location: Front Royal, Virginia
Reporting: Directly to Head Brewer
Compensation: 30 hrs per week at $15/hr (paid hourly)
Vibrissa Beer is looking to add a valued team member to our growing company. Vibrissa Beer is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia; our original Front Royal location is a 10BBL brewpub with smaller scale canning and distribution. We are preparing to open our production facility in Winchester this summer (2022). The position of cellar person will be primarily focused out of the Front Royal location but applicants will need to be flexible to work in Winchester as business needs vary.
This position is a 30 hour work week on average; there is opportunity for the addition of a front of house serving (or potentially bartending shift) which is available, but not required.
Relevant experience preferred but not required.
Position Summary:
The cellar person is primarily responsible for cellaring operations (racking, tank cleaning) and packaging operations (canning and kegging). Assists in brewhouse with milling, brewing, maintenance and cleaning.
Job Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs; ability to see, hear, kneel, crouch, lift and bend repetitively
Active driver’s license with clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Flexible schedule
Appropriate candidates must possess a strong work ethic and interest with passion for craft beer and brewing beer

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00/hour.
