Company DescriptionVichara is a Financial Services focussed products and services firm hedquartered in NY and building systems for some of the largest i-banks and hedge funds in the world.Job DescriptionUnderstand key business processes and support efforts to streamline and standardize these processes, by introducing automation or eliminating redundancies. Domain of internal accounting investment operations, loan workflows will be key areas of focus.Collaborate with internal and external groups to analyze and document software features, platform capabilities, and processes.Perform detailed finance data analysis working with our Fund management, Operations, and Deal teamsCollate and document requirements according to internally established standards:Create user storiesDefine and maintain acceptance criteriaReview test plans and test casesDocument and maintain business context and processesAct as a subject matter expert (especially in areas relating to finance, accounting, and tax). QualificationsMinimum 8 years of business analyst experience requiredExperience with SS&C Geneva as an internal accounting system requiredFinancial services industry experience requiredMinimum of 6 years of experience working with/in finance and account functionsExperience working in Agile/Scrum framework preferredStrong communication skills requiredWillingness to take on new responsibilities as the environment evolves and new skills are neededSelf-starter who takes initiative to accomplish tasks independently or with minimal guidance from supervisorExperience working with loan systems (e.g. WSO, Virtus) and accounting systems (e.g. Broadridge Sentry, PAM) strongly preferred Additional InformationCompensation - 150K USD Benefits ( 401K, Dental etc.)
