Job Description
Duties:
• Manages company Workday system and business process configurations, system and data maintenance, and content management, supporting data integrations and system authentication, ensuring system stability, security compliance and resolution for high impact issues.
• Serves as a functional and operational point of contact for Corporate Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. Support their use of Workday via training, addressing defects and implementing enhancements.
- Advocates for workday best practices, helps the business and IT adopt these practices.
• Partnering with Workday integration resources; maintains, updates, and tests system integrations with other departments and external vendors.
- Document work performed: create user stories, test plans and release procedures
- Testing defect fixes and enhancements manages unit testing, integration testing and User acceptance testing for items they participate in designing or developing.
• Developing and generating reports and dashboards in workday to support financials users
Qualifications
- Skill requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Financials, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Modules.
- Strong Accounting Background.
- Experience working on global, cross-functional projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills working with business users to answer their technology questions and resolve their workday accounting issues.
