Workday Financials Integration Consultant

Job Description

Duties:

•     Manages company Workday system and business process configurations, system and data maintenance, and content management, supporting data integrations and system authentication, ensuring system stability, security compliance and resolution for high impact issues.

• • Integration Design: Collaborate with finance and IT teams to understand integration requirements, create detailed integration design documentation, and propose efficient solutions to meet business needs.
  • Development: Develop, configure, and maintain integration solutions within the Workday platform using Workday Studio and EIBs.
  • Familiarity with Workday Report Writer, BIRT and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Data Transformation: Create data transformation scripts and mappings to ensure data consistency and accuracy between Workday and external financial systems.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing of integrations to identify and resolve issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
  • Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively detect and address integration-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, including configurations, data mappings, and change logs.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure data security, compliance with industry regulations, and adherence to best practices in all integration processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, provide support, and ensure seamless integration solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve integration-related issues promptly, providing support during critical financial processes.

Qualifications

• Skill requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Workday Financials, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Modules.
• Development: Develop, configure, and maintain integration solutions within the Workday platform using Workday Studio and EIBs.Familiarity with Workday Report Writer, BIRT and other relevant tools and technologies.
• Experience working on global, cross-functional projects
• Strong oral and written communication skills working with business users to answer their technology questions and resolve their workday accounting issues.
