With the construction of a new manufacturing facility in the USA, the introduction of three new product lines, and a major refresh of our existing products, VMC is experiencing significant and exciting growth. In tandem, we are expanding functionality and developing new enterprise systems to help us achieve our goals with efficiency in mind.
Essential Functions:
- Perform vehicle inspection work as outlined on inspection master with efficiency and accuracy.
- Execute repairs within trained skillset.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles. Perform final alignment/adjustments prior to vehicle departure.
- Document all findings and repairs in quality management system.
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and report out findings to quality lead/manager.
- Test operation performance of motor using a voltmeter and ammeter
- Maintain inventory of shop supplied tools (“special tooling”).
- Participate in factory sponsored training courses.
- Maintain work environment in an organized and safe condition.
- Provide an exceptional attitude and experience to drive moral and safe working conditions.
Requirements:
- Must supply own hand tools and toolboxes to meet or exceed tooling requirements.
- Strong mechanical background knowledge.
- Previous experience with electrical vehicles preferred.
- General Mechanic skills. Able to operator power and hand tools
- Ability to read, understand and perform written instructions accurately and consistently.
- Attention to detail.
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Ability to operate an automobile including Electric.
- Ability to work independently and with others with minimum supervision.
- Valid driver license with a clean/safe driving record.
