Position Summary
The Project Coordinator performs basic project management activities under the direction of IS Program Office.
Management of Information Services projects ranging from managed work to small project size and low to moderate complexity under direct supervision of a more seasoned project or program manager. The projects will be managed utilizing the PM framework and methodology guidelines to deliver initiatives on schedule and on budget while meeting the needs of the project sponsor units.
This is not an administrative support position, but rather an entry-level, developmental position that will learn and demonstrate basic project management techniques, principles and methods that are specified by Vidant Health's Project Management Framework.
The goal of this position is also to give the incumbent fundamental exposure to planning and executing projects, resource management and analysis, and reporting functions.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
2 years administrative or project support experience required.
Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.
CAPM Certification preferred.
