What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, IT Enterprise Services position at Videojet?
The Director, IT Enterprise Services is responsible for maintaining a high level of IT customer service provided to all Videojet global sales and business operations associates and locations. This person will provide leadership and vision over the global infrastructure, network, operations, data base administration, and IT service desk teams and will report to the Videojet CIO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic
Prepare and maintain a fiscal plan that includes both operating and capital expenses that are necessary to maintain and operate the enterprise services organization.
Develop, redefine, and sustain a rolling 3-year plan with respect to modernizing Videojet’s infrastructure, database, and network environments, leveraging latest trends and technologies.
Tactical
Implement company policies and procedures to ensure optimal usage and efficiency of the company’s enterprise IT resources.
Establish and maintain standards to assure compatibility between systems and ease of maintenance.
Responsible for vendor management, invoice processing, setting standards for end point devices
Oversee operation of Data Center and environmental controls within the Data Center
Operational
Manage enterprise IT services for the corporate computing environment including but not limited to global WANs, LANs, Wi-Fi, servers, databases, storage, data / hosting centers, cloud environments, video conferencing, phone systems.
Oversee the administration of enterprise application environments including items such as, databases, authentication, backups, and security services.
Provide world class help desk and support services to associates worldwide. This includes but is not limited to identification of training needs, building and deploying training programs, provision of PC’s, devices and other peripheral devices as applicable.
Leverage Danaher Business System to implement Daily and Visual management
Create KPI’s that will help lead the enterprise IT services
Leverage ITIL best practices to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Support Merger and Acquisition initiatives, included but not limited to due diligence efforts, finding synergies to align with Videojet business.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; Masters of Science or MBA is preferred or equivalent experience.
Re-engineering / process improvement experience, including leading and coaching continuous improvement projects.
At least 12 years having overseen information systems in a distributed computing, global multi- site manufacturing or distribution setting.
Experience and knowledge with network protocols, infrastructure standards, cloud technologies, database administration, end user computer techniques with the ability to translate these technical skills into business results.
Matrix leadership experience of direct reports and cross-functional teams.
Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
Experience with implementation of information technology integrations in a large division/company.
