Job Description:
Viderity is looking for a dynamic and skilled Java Developer to join our team. If you're passionate about designing, developing, and implementing web-based Java applications that drive business success, we want to hear from you. As part of our collaborative and innovative environment, you'll play a crucial role in following approved Agile life cycle methodologies, creating design documents, and performing program coding. Your expertise will be vital in resolving technical issues through debugging and investigation, as well as interpreting and analyzing data to provide insightful reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
- Follows approved Agile life cycle methodologies, creates design documents & performs program coding.
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
- Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides ongoing reports.
- Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources.
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets data sets and document recommendations.
Required Skills:
- 1 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree is required. Commensurate experience for education.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java. Experience with Spring or other MVC framework
- Experience with web services (RESTful, SOAP)
- Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and experience with common JavaScript frameworks (Ember, Angular)
- Experience with writing basic SQL queries in Sybase, Oracle
- Experience with databases including Stored Procedures, DML and DDL tasks
- Experience with source control management (SVN, Git)
- Experience with build automation (Jenkins, Hudson)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Apache Tomcat or any other application servers is desirable
- Experience working with in an Agile development environment
- Experience with JIRA
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Salary Range:
- $70,000 - $80,000 per year
