What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Logistics Manager position at Vigna Inc?
This individual will be responsible for assisting the Logistics Manager in the planning and completion of shipments along with performing work associated with the pulling, verification, and shipping of customer orders. Also responsible for loading customer orders on trailers for transport, and the unloading of raw materials as needed. Also responsible for following FIFO rule when filling customer orders and storing inventory. Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with trucking lines to schedule pickups, and deliveries including but not limited to: customer orders, raw materials, etc.
- Create a bill of ladings for shipments as needed
- Invoice orders after they have shipped out
- Receive packages from UPS, communicate to affected employees the pickup of packages
- Separate out of date, or out of specification product from ready to ship product
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
