- Job Description:
- Collect bids for account receivable management as instructed.
- Create and manage job cost analysis for bids and contracts.
- Enter customer contracts, change orders, and other documents into establish customer builders software.
- Verifying billing details, such as contract terms, pricing, and project specifications, to ensure accuracy before sending change orders to clients.
- Review and sign contracts with customers, finalize job contracts after construction audit and communicate cleared margin data.
- Assist in collections efforts, including managing change orders and following up with customers for payment.
- Request and manage draws throughout construction and obtain necessary approvals.
- Maintain price tracking report, daily sales report data, and other reports as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing billing inquiries and payments promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and their payment history.
- Assisting in the preparation of accounts receivable reports, cash flow projections, and financial analysis for management review.
- Collaborating to obtain quotes for materials and subcontractor services, ensuring accurate cost estimates.
- Ability to interpret and read floor plans to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Meet month-end transaction requirements.
- Backup warehouse transaction administration as needed.
- Run and/or prepare reports as needed.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors’ degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of related experience in accounts receivable, preferably in construction/home improvement industry.
- Strong math skills and accounting knowledge.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to consistently multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using MS Office suite and all other company-specific accounting systems.
- Ability to remain calm and positive while working under pressure.
