What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Manager position at Village Apothecary?
We are seeking a motivated self-starter to become the Practice Manager for Woodstock Apothecary in Woodstock, NY.
As the Practice Manager, you will be accountable for daily operations, facilities (cleanliness, presentation), and customer service.
We are seeking someone to help implement customer service systems and policies to elevate the level of customer care in our local practice to award-winning, regionally recognized status.
Ideal candidates have experience in roles responsible for implementing successful customer service policies and initiatives, has team management experience, and has demonstrated a knowledge of modern customer acquisition and service techniques.
The Practice Manager will complete tasks such as:
- Order store and business supplies, including marketing materials or otherwise
- Pay vendors
- Organize information and documents
- Ensure the overall aesthetic of the practice and feel matches our business goals
- Review business SOPs, ensure they are accurate and reflect our actual tasks
- Assist in training existing and onboarding new staff
- Perform annual healthcare compliance monitoring and ensure all staff are credentialed to work
- Gather data from business systems to track and report business performance
- Use key performance indicators to implement policies and plans to assist us in becoming a best-in-class practice
- Manage the product database, adding new, editing existing, and archiving old products
- Familiarize yourself with pharmacy operations and assist with cashier, pharmacy tech, and COVID-19 testing/vaccination assistance duties
- Verify employee hours, set a schedule, ensure coverage, submit data to payroll
- Other tasks commensurate to the role of practice manager, as they come up

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
