Village Caregiving - Fort Wayne is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position located in Angola, Indiana. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to our clients in their homes. This is an individual contributor role, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. The compensation for this position ranges from $15 to $18 per hour and is paid semimonthly. We offer Accidental, Vision and Dental Insurance. $100, Bonus after 30 days of perfect attendance.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dishes, and tidying up client's living space
- Prepare and serve meals according to client's dietary needs and preferences
- Provide meaningful interaction with the clients
- Assists with medication reminders
- Monitor clients' physical and mental well-being and report any changes to supervisor
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the client
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient with a passion for helping others
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
