Dental Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for dentistry and a desire to provide exceptional patient care.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Develop dental x-rays
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
