Job Posting for Maintenance Associate at Village Green Real Estate & Development, LLC
You’re skilled enough to do some big things (electrical and plumbing repairs) and some small (changing light bulbs, hanging pictures) – and you’re happy to do both. You prefer a friendly community setting rather than an impersonal business. You keep our community running smoothly and knowing how much you are helping the staff and residents makes your work more satisfying. If you’d love to help us keep our communities well-maintained, beautiful, and safe, we believe you’d make a great Maintenance Associate
The more variety the better. You’re knowledgeable in many areas of maintenance and you love to share your skills. We have plenty of systems for you to take care of, which means your days will all be unique and interesting.
No task too big or small. If you can handle it, we’ll let you. In addition to the big tasks, you might be asked to unclog a toilet, do a small paint job or even some groundskeeping or light snow removal.
The community’s resource. You’ll become a valued member of our community and we will rely on you. It’s much more rewarding to build those relationships than it is to work on a job site or in an empty office building.
Safety is paramount. Everything you do will add to the comfort and safety of residents and patients. Making sure call lights in patient rooms work is paramount. Helping with security is another area where you can assist.
You could perform routine, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting and finishing and maintenance on facilities, equipment, grounds, parking areas and sidewalks at our facility. No need to worry – we’ll provide the on-the-job training you need. If a project is too complex for your skills, we’ll call in professional contractors.
