Job Posting for Medical front office rep- Plano at Village Health Partners
Village Health Partners, a family practice office in Plano, is seeking an experienced, outgoing, and reliable person for our Front Office team. Candidates must have previous EMR and CPT/ICD10 coding experience in a medical/healthcare office. Superior customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent computer skills are a must.
Duties for this position include:
- Answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, receiving and posting payments
- Checking in patients, verifying and updating patient insurance and demographic information
- Greeting and directing patients and visitors
- Acting as a liaison between patients and medical support staff
- Checking out patients, collecting co-pays or deductibles and reviewing billing charges
- Maintaining work area, lobby, and patient flow
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Following all HIPAA and privacy rules
Must live within a 30 minute commute of Plano, TX 75024
